I’m sure that you’re sick and tired of having to go charge your iPod with a computer, which usually isn’t anywhere nearby. The idea behind this product is that you can now use the normal USB cord for connecting the iPod to the computer, and plug it into their device to charge it through a wall outlet. Great idea, bad product.

We did like their small design, especially with the flip-down outlet prongs. We also liked the indicator light, showing red while charging and green when charged. However, while it does have a simple USB slot, you are not suposed to charge any other product but an iPod with it. While it may or may not work, it was not designed for use with other mp3 players. Additionally, it is very fussy. Anytime we try to use it, it takes lots of fiddling around with it and wiggling it to get it to work properly. This was tested in multiple outlets, and the outcome is the same each time. If you’re looking to charge your iPod using a nearby outlet, we recommend trying a different product.

Energizer Easy Charger Our Rating:

We found the Energizer easy charger to be exactly that – easy. First off, it comes with four rechargeable AA batteries, black, silver, and white interchangeable faceplates, and the charger itself. One of the really neat features it that it has the capability of charging both AA and AAA batteries, in any combination of two or four of a kind.

It also has a safety on/off switch, and a nice and large indicator light for when it is charging, as well as when charging is complete. It has a feature that automatically stops the charger when the batteries are fully charged, so you don’t have to worry about overcharging your batteries. The batteries themselves work very well in all of the many electronics they were tested in, both AA and AAA sizes. Additionally, the charger is simple to use and looks nice. The only reason this isn’t getting a perfect rating? The first one that we purchased was defective and didn’t charge batteries at all! While the one that we purchased after works great, the first impression of buying a defective one takes down it’s overall rating.
